About the role and team

Not all property roles are the same.

This opportunity places you at the intersection of institutional real estate investment, complex development projects and sophisticated commercial property transactions, becoming a key member of a growing practice that advises investment funds, developers and major property owners across Australia.

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Associate to join our Brisbane property team, working directly with two experienced property partners in a national practice recognised for delivering complex and high-value real estate transactions.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a lawyer seeking exposure to sophisticated property work across the full property lifecycle, from acquisitions and disposals through to development, leasing and ongoing asset management.

You will be involved in advising on:

• major capital transactions across all property sectors, including acquisitions, disposals and portfolio transactions for investment fund clients; 
• complex development projects, including mixed-use, commercial, residential and industrial developments;
• commercial leasing for institutional landlords, property funds and major tenants; and 
• a broad range of commercial agreements supporting property and development activities, including development management agreements, joint venture agreements, co-owners agreements, property management agreements, asset management agreements and related arrangements.

About you

You will ideally have the following skills and experience:

• approximately 5+ years' post-admission experience in property law;
• strong technical and drafting skills;
• experience managing transactions and client relationships; and 
• commercially minded and solutions-focused.
