About the role and team
We have a new and rare opportunity for a Client Reporting Co-ordinator to join our National Insurance Practice, on a part-time (2 days per week) basis.
Working closely with the National Insurance Partners, the Client Reporting Analyst and one other Client Reporting Co-ordinator, this role will be responsible for liaising with lawyers and Partners, coordinating a large volume of client reporting compliance, ensuring the firm is delivering to client contract requirements, and driving better outcomes around KPIs for matters. It will also support insurance client tender submissions by providing data and reporting.
The National Insurance practice at Hall & Wilcox has approximately 535 partners and employees across our eight offices.
You will be responsible for:
- coordinating client reporting, KPI compliance, matter data integrity, and performance tracking across the national insurance practice;
- managing client requirements, including contractual obligations, SLAs, billing rules, coding reviews, and engagement compliance;
- supporting partners in client relationship management, tender submissions, and the delivery of client-focused outcomes;
- analysing performance data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, anomalies, and areas for improvement, providing actionable recommendations;
- driving process improvement initiatives through report automation, technology solutions, and collaboration with IT and Legal Solutions teams to enhance efficiency and accuracy; and
- monitoring performance against targets while ensuring deadlines, reporting requirements, and service standards are consistently met.
About you
You will ideally have the following skills and experience:
- able to build strong working relationships with people at all levels of the firm;
- strong Excel skills including XLook up or VLook up;
- an appetite for technology solutions and process improvement;
- excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- be flexible, proactive and enthusiastic;
- have the ability to show initiative and work independently, as well as part of a team;
- have an analytical mind and be able to develop clear and practical solutions; and
- be highly organised, able to work under pressure to strict deadlines and maintain strong attention to detail.
Candidates with experience as a legal assistant within an insurance or litigation practice will be considered.
