About the role and team
We have a new opportunity for a Facilities Clerk to join our Workspace team based on-site in our Sydney office.
As the Facilities Clerk, you will play an important role in providing efficient and reliable facilities support to our growing Sydney office. This role will form part of the national Workspace team which includes Facilities and Files & Securities.
You will be responsible for:
- setting up rooms including IT equipment for workstations, meetings, events and seminars;
- maintaining internal meeting rooms including AV equipment, stationery and room presentation;
- maintaining inventory of AV and WFH equipment, such as monitors, keyboards, headsets and meeting room devices;
- conducting daily floor walks in the morning and afternoon to ensure office is fully operational;
- providing office tour to new starters;
- managing security access card distribution;
- monitoring and completing service requests submitted through Jira;
- logging jobs with building management;
- coordinating secure bin pickups and general office maintenance; and
- assisting with ad-hoc tasks as required.
About you
You will ideally have the following skills and experience:
- strong attention to detail;
- strong customer service skills;
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- flexible and reliable with a ‘can do’ attitude and proactive approach;
- strong organisation skills and the ability to prioritise deadlines;
- ability to work autonomously as well as taking direction;
- basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite;
- ability to work under pressure; and
- professional work ethic.
