About the role and team

We have an exciting opportunity for a Legal Assistant to join our growing General Insurance section based in our Perth office, on a casual basis for 3 days a week. This role provides administrative support to the General Insurance team and is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and fast paced team.

You will be responsible for:

• telephone handling for the team;
• managing client file maintenance for the team;
• coordinating incoming and outgoing correspondence; 
• drafting of documentation as required; and
• other ad-hoc administration duties as required.

 About you

You will ideally have the following skills and experience:

• a minimum of one year of legal assistant experience within a law practice; 
• strong organisational skills;
• a team player; 
• excellent communication skills;
• experience in using client management program/s (Aderant would be desirable but is not required); and
• experience in using document management system/s (iManage10 would be desirable but is not required).
